The stooges original vinyl.
The stooges have announced a new live album live at goose lake.
The first stooges lp is a brilliant forward looking entity which at the time was derided as amateur playing with delinquent theatrics a going nowhere disc that would soon be forgotten about was how the record business saw the stooges a lost cause that had no right in existing as a musical pop group this first outing is raw and untutored two things that make it a singular waxing any way.

First vinyl pressing of the stooges 1969 debut using john cale s original mixes.
My review is solely on the pressing quality of the 2010 rhino vinyl reissue i shouldn t have to say how great the album is itself.
Heavy dead quiet and flat with great dynamics.
Anyway the packaging quality is as always top notch the vinyl is pristine.
Due out august 7th one day ahead of the gig s 50th.
Yeah i know i know iggy and the stooges were misunderstood but they weren t they just weren t that good compared to the music of the time and it wasn t until punk came along with half baked and half rate musicians reacting to something they couldn t dream of doing that iggy and the stooges somehow climbed out of the peanut.
