Grouting is the final step of installing ceramic wall tile after the tile adhesive has fully cured.

The color of grout you choose can play into your design in different ways. Work in a small area at a time roughly a 3 x 3 foot section. After tile is installed the next step is grouting the gaps between tiles. Place spacers between the tiles to establish the grout lines.

Use the center tile as a reference point and install the remaining tiles along straight lines. Use a hard edged rubber grout float and hold it at a 45 degree angle. Grouting is not difficult to do well but it is even easier to do poorly. In this video i show you how to grout tile.
